Project Description: Project consisted of the construction of an HOV lane and associated Traffic Management System along IH 635 in Dallas County from West of US 75 to IH 30.

Types and Quantities of TMS/ITS devices:  22 CCTV Cameras, 14 Video Fiber Optic Transmitters, 14 Video Fiber Optic Receivers, 14 Microwave Vehicle Detectors, 28 RS-232 Data Modems, 8 Limited Distance Modems, 11 Communication Hub Buildings, CCTV Central Equipment, 1 OC-12 ATM Communications Interface Card, 8 Wireless Access Points, and 203,470 Linear Feet of Fiber Optic Cable.

Commencement and completion Date:  Project let on February 7, 2006 and was completed on June 13, 2008.
