Project Description: Project consisted of the installation of a complete Traffic Management System along IH 35E in Ellis County from 0.96 miles south of US 77 (South) to US 77 (North).

Types and Quantities of TMS/ITS devices:  6 CCTV Cameras, 1 Video Fiber Optic Transmitter, 1 Video Fiber Optic Receiver, 6 Microwave Vehicle Detectors, 5 Point-to-Multipoint Wireless Radios, 4 Point-to-Point Wireless Radios, 1 Road Weather Information System, and 1,560 Linear Feet of Fiber Optic Cable.

Commencement and completion Date:  Project let on April 11, 2007 and is in Final Acceptance Testing.
